Launch Party Photos Are Up!

We have added the Launch Party photos to our website.  It was a grand evening – go take a look!  See the Launch Party Photos here…

A few of the more candid shots were too fun not to use and as revealing as the interiors we like to create. Thank you to Bridget Balsley (one of our favorite artists) for arranging this collage!  You can also email us directly for copies of the photos for your own use.  (info@jrstudiodesign.com)  We would be glad to share.

An inspired evening on the perfect summer night

Yesterday was the formal launch of my design studio, an event years past due, but well worth the wait!

Initially conceived as a celebration of our feature in California Homes magazine, the event provided the perfect excuse to contemplate the past and a toast the many inspired interiors to come.  Visit the Press Room section of my website within the next few weeks to see the celebration. There were quite a few inspiring faces in the crowd. Thank you to my gracious guests who joined us on this festive occasion. Enjoy the photos!

Of course, an event of such magnitude comes with much sincere gratitude as well. I especially thank Elizabeth Faulkner (a chef who inspires my sense of wonder with the amazing food she creates) for bringing delicious treats for our well dressed guests. Elizabeth designs for the palate the way I design for the home – pleasing, inspired, thought provoking and celebrational. Having her with me was a moment I will remember forever. (and thank you to her partner, Sabrina, for the behind-the-scenes tour of their restaurant, Orson, at our impromptu “after-party.”) The Witford showroom provided a perfectly luxe lounge, Festival34 brought amazing wines (a preview of their line not even yet available to the public,) and California Homes brought cases of their trend setting magazine for all to take and explore.  My sincere thanks to these wonderful tastemakers.  Visit them often.  I am certain you will enjoy them as much as I do.
